MLM lead generation is easy if you just have a handful of secrets
The real trick is you want to generate leads that want to join your buy your stuff and join your team.

Know who you are trying to attract. First thing you need to do is be laser focused on your target market.
- What specific problem does your solution solve?
- Who might have that problem?
If you start with the end in mind you’re more likely to build up a solid plan and strategy to have a massively successful business. Knowing the specific person you’re looking for and the particular problem they need to solve refines your search and makes your marketing efficient and effective.
What most people do is ask the wrong questions. They start with the beginning in mind. It becomes about the marketer solving their problem:
- Who wants to buy my stuff?
- Who might like to join my team?

MLM Lead Generation Tip 2
Know who you are. When I started in Network Marketing I looked around and saw who made the big money and I thought about what were they doing and how were they presenting themselves to create that massive success. I tried to emulate everything they did, I tried to duplicate their marketing and I tried to mimic their personality.
My success was underwhelming. My MLM lead generation strategy sucked!. I struggled and made very little money. I worked really hard at being somebody else.
It wasn’t until I took a deep look inside the find out who I was, what I was about, what my passions were and what my values and beliefs are that I began to start seeing some success. The thing I love to do is help people learn to discover more about themselves and leverage with the find.
I have a lot of information, background and experience in SEO (search engine optimization), blog design and article marketing strategies. That’s what I started putting in my blog. All these things are useful and helpful and you need to know them. But that isn’t why I was born or what I am supposed to bring to the world.
You see, we each have a gift. We each have a piece of the puzzle that we were brought here to share. When we find that gift and how that puzzle piece fits into the big picture, that’s when we start bringing value to others.
I heard someone say once that the amount of money that you have coming in is directly related to the amount of value you bring to the world. Bring more value, and you’ll make more money. Or as Brian Tracy says, “Help enough other people get what they want and you will get what you want”.
MLM Lead Generation Tip 3
Find someone that brings out the best in you. You need to be around positive people, but not yes-men.
You need to be around people who are supportive and will challenge you to be your best and most truthful self. You want people to be pushing you to really dig deep inside find out who you are and how you can help other people around you.
You need to find a mastermind team that are like-minded and are on the path to success. These folks will give and take reflection and feedback that will take them and you to your highest possibilities. You can multiply your success by a factor of 10 and cut your time to success by a third if you have the right mastermind team working with you.
Most of us have naysayers and negative people in our corner telling us not to be opinionated, not to be overly direct, not to be provocative and not rock the boat. They do this with the best of intentions because they want you to be happy and safe. In their world, if they draw outside the lines they get their hands slapped. If they do something that’s “out of the ordinary” they get shunned and rejected.
They want to save you from their bad experiences. It isn’t because they don’t like you don’t want you to be successful. And it’s not necessarily because are being overly controlling. It’s probably because they want the best for you.
But if you look closely, these are the same people who are frustrated with her mediocre lives, always complaining about what they don’t have or dreaming about what they would love to have. They probably have never taken the time or effort to look inside themselves to see what gift that they are not bringing the world.
You also need a mentor, a guide who is further along the path than you are and has experience and skills you need to make that leap to the success you know you can achieve.
I went to Japan and earned my fifth degree black belt in Ninjutsu, which means I have earned the title of Shodoshi, teacher of teachers. I couldn’t have done it without a team of people around me who were on the same path, giving and taking feedback. I couldn’t have done it without someone who was a “sensei”, which can be translated as “one who has gone down the path before”.
It’s the same in anything, especially business and marketing. You need to surround yourself with the right people going the same direction, you need a mentor has experienced what you would like to achieve and you need to always keep learning.
So, there you have three secrets to MLM lead generation.
- Know the problem you’re trying to solve
- Know who you are and what you have to bring to the world to solve that problem
- And most importantly, surround yourself with like-minded positive people, and in particular a good mentor.
