What is Passive Income is Not The Right Question To Ask…
.…“How can I have passive income” is a much better question.
But first let’s talk about what it is and how you can not only have passive income, but how you can have what I like, MASSIVE ongoing income.
What is Passive Income?
It is money that you get on an ongoing basis that you don’t work for.
Huh?
Yep! Passive income is dollars that come to you every month that IS NOT from any work or labor that you performed that month.
Just imagine, you are playing with your family on the beach, or in the mountains, or on an extended overseas vacation. You come in from a great day showing your kids things that will change their lives, and yours, forever.
You check your email, send some greetings and pictures from your exhilarating day with your family on Facebook that make all your friends and family jealous.
Just for fun you decide to check your bank statement. You have been gone for six weeks, not working or even thinking about work. But when you look at your bank balance you see that the income that went directly into your account was more than the total of all your living expenses PLUS all the money you’ve spent on vacation AND there is still a lot more left over to invest in your future!
That is what passive income is!.
The best definition I have ever heard for wealth was when your total PASSIVE income EXCEEDS your total living expenses.
What this simply means is that when you have income coming in that you don’t have to work for (mailbox money) then you are truly wealthy. You are wealthy because you never have to worry about money again. You are safe, secure and you know that if anything happens to you, you and your family will live just fine and not have to do “without”.
Most people have the potential to create this type of wealth very quickly. It’s a question of getting your living expenses in control and then creating the relatively small passive income you need to create time freedom for yourself and your family.

What Is the Best Way to Have Passive Income?
“But, how does that money come to me every month if I don’t work for it?” you ask.
This “mailbox money” comes from work that you DID in the past. We have our favorite ways to create this ongoing income stream. These are ways that ANYONE can do. These include setting up an online money site that runs on auto-pilot while you are off enjoying your freedom.
We’ll tell you more about that in a minute.
Some other examples that take more specialized skills (and quite honestly are harder to do) are royalties from music you wrote, a patent you created and someone else uses and a book you wrote and a publisher sends you checks when books are sold by someone other than you.
It is NOT free money! You have to have done something to start the flow in the first place.
I know of some people who have taken their family on a four month trip around the world in their own personal yacht. By the way, these were people who just a few short years ago were working for a very middle class wage, and struggling at that.
You must have performed some work initially to start the money pump. But once the flow gets going it flows to your mailbox, (or better yet directly to your bank account) every month.
Another example is our “brick and mortar” business. We worked really hard for a number of years to build our business. One of our core values was that we wanted to build businesses that help others get what they want.
So naturally our business model included a way for people that loved what we were teaching to learn, grow and eventually become a leader in our business. Or we could partner with others to start their own business!
It’s a win-win
The customer gets exactly what they want (and they find they get a lot more than they initially were looking for)
Some customers become team members and learn more about themselves, earn an income and learn about how to grow a successful business.
- Some team members get to manage our business
- Some team members get our help to start and grow their own businesses
- More customers get what they want because we have multiplied and leveraged our efforts through helping others get what they want
- We earn passive income through others managing our businesses and royalties from helping other team members start their businesses
This also allows us to create new income streams by applying this model to other new businesses!
What is MASSIVE passive income?
Remember the definition of wealth? When your passive income exceeds your living expenses.
Well, MASSIVE passive income is when your passive income exceeds your living expenses by a large enough amount that there is enough EXCESS passive income to invest into new and different income vehicles…
… that produce more and more passive income.
This is what the mega wealthy do. This is their most highly guarded secret to create staggering wealth!
Once you learn this secret, apply it to your wealth building strategy (you do have a wealth building strategy, don’t you?) then you have the possibility to generate fantastic wealth, in a relatively short time.
